General Information

All of my cakes are prepared fresh to order.
A minimum of 3 weeks notice for celebration cakes and 8 weeks notice for wedding cakes is requested. Although I will always try to accommodate cakes with less notice, it may not always be possible. Early booking is advisable, especially if your event is during peak wedding season, as I take orders up to 18 months in advance.

Consultations

Making sure the design of your cake suits your specific occasion is the most important process of all. Everyone has their own ideas, whether you have a book full of cuttings, or would like a design to match the wedding dress, invitations or colour scheme, I am here to help turn those ideas into your special cake.
No-obligation consultations either take place at my home, where there will be display cakes for you to view and a few tasters to sample. After all, it’s got to taste good. If you would like to book a consultation, please get in touch.

Payment and Deposits

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total cost is required when confirming your order. This can be paid in cash, by cheque or bank transfer – details available upon request.
The remaining balance will then be due two weeks prior to the occasion.
If the cake is ordered with less than three weeks notice, payment will be required in full upon confirmation of the order.
Please Note: Cheque and bank transfers need to be cleared at least 14 days before the date of delivery/collection.

Cake Delivery

Delivery is free of charge within a 10-mile radius of Deal, 20-miles for wedding cakes. I am more than happy to deliver further afield, please contact me for a delivery cost.
I strongly recommended that I deliver and set up your wedding cake. I can liaise with the venue to arrange a suitable time to do this.

Cake Storage

Cakes need to be stored in a cool, dark place (not in the fridge). Sponge cakes will stay fresh for up to three days after delivery, fruit cakes can last for several months.

Hire

All You Need is Cake has a number of stands available to hire when ordering a cake from us.
Prices range from £5 to £25 depending upon style. I require a security deposit, to be refunded upon the safe return of the stand.
